Cannot send an email using Outlook

If you cannot send an email through Outlook because it hangs or crashes check the following list before contacting IT Helpdesk.

1. Make sure you are not sending a large file as this may crash Outlook
2. Check that no one else in your area is getting the same issues, if more than one person is experiencing it then IT need to be contacted
3. Try to login to the online webmail and send a message through it, this will make sure that the problem is located with your account, if the problem still occurs then contact IT Helpdesk. The online webmail url is https://webmail.hcml.co.uk/OWA, make sure that you put hcml\ before your username!!!!
4. Reboot your PC (every IT professionals favorite sentence), this has been known to cure the issue
