Internet Explorer has two versions installed, 32 bit and 64 bit. You maybe wondering what the differences between them are! This article explains what the differences are.

Internet Explorer 64 bit gives your computer larger amount of memory to run in, theoretically this means that Internet Explorer should run smoother and better as it can access larger amounts of memory. However, in reality the 64 bit version does not work with most Internet applications/websites and should therefore not be used when using the CMS.

Close all your open Internet Explorer tabs and windows. Next search for Internet Explorer by:

How would I know if Internet Explorer is in 64 bit?
- Go to Tools -> click About Internet Explorer
If you can see 64 bit anywhere in this screen then you are in 64 bit version of IE - Right click the Internet Explorer icon on your taskbar

this will open a new menu. If there is 64 bit next to Internet Explorer then you are in 64 bit version of IE.
Close all your open Internet Explorer tabs and windows. Next search for Internet Explorer by:
- Press the Start button
- Type Internet Explorer
- Select the NON 64 bit version of Internet Explorer
